Deliciously Cooking is the daily recipe arm of Deliciously Fine Foods, a niche supplier of premium Italian ingredients with direct relationships with family-run producers across Italy.
Our story
Since 2016, we have been sourcing the finest artisanal products from small Italian producers - aged cheeses, cured meats, farm-to-table preserves, and handmade pasta. We know these ingredients intimately because we work directly with the families who make them.
Deliciously Cooking was born from a simple idea: what if we shared not just the ingredients, but the knowledge of how to use them? One recipe a day, written with the care and precision of a professional kitchen, but designed for confident home cooking.

We source and supply these ingredients ourselves. We know what makes a great olive oil, how to judge cheese ripeness, and which pasta shape suits which sauce.

Our philosophy is simple: real food, made properly, with ingredients you can pronounce. No additives, no colouring, no nonsense.
Who writes the recipes
Deliciously Cooking is written by Luigi de Simone Niquesa. From 1982 to 2016 he owned and ran a company of seven luxury hotels in Italy, each with its own fine restaurant and bar — writing the menus, developing the recipes, setting the standard, and cooking alongside his kitchens throughout.
In 2016 he founded Deliciously Fine Foods, sourcing from small Italian producers. Every recipe here is written by him, from ingredients he knows because the company buys them.
